True Jyhadists

The Sabbat in Centropolis is a small but growing contingent of vampires. Having tested the mettle of their foes, the sect acquired a small portion of Centropolis. This territory is theirs in which to hunt and sleep and stage their eventual acquisition of the entire city.

The means by which that conquest will happen can be measured by strength and cunning, with reason and passion alike guiding the Sword of Caine into the heart of the pawns of the ancients. It will be no easy task, and the sect recognizes the wisdom in careful planning and strategic assertation.

To that end, the Diocese of Centropolis is under strict orders to conduct operations with stealth and forethought. All-out war is not advisable; the sect is fighting the Jyhad on other fronts and cannot afford many more reinforcements. The Sabbat here are to observe, gather, and record all intelligence on their enemies among the Camarilla, Anarchs, independents, and other enemies. Confrontational engagement with these enemies must be executed only on a self-defense basis. The sect orders this diocese to avoid too many loose ends; recruits are to be chosen carefully and human ghouls are limited as a privilege of the Bishops only.

In time, Centropolis will join the metropoli of the Americas ruled by the Sabbat. When that glorious night arrives, all true vampires may rejoice and revel in greater freedom. But tonight, the Sabbat of Centropolis are on a mission. They are the first wave of this Jyhad. All the glory and prestige of this city's inevitable conquest will be draped around their necks as laurels. So, too, is the responsibility and necessary bravery resting on their shoulders. Let those laurels not become a noose by which they are hanged.

The Agreement

Previous leaders of the Diocese established an armistice with the Camarilla Prince. This determined which parts of the city belonged to which sect and was designed to eliminate open fighting. The Diocese does not honor that truce per se anymore, but its orders of infiltration and observation dictate against open conflict with the Camarilla or any other enemies anyway. (This was perhaps the Diocese's intention in the first place: to set the enemy off-guard.) Only in defense of territory or one's own unlives may the Sabbat of Centropolis strike down Camarilla dogs.

"When force is necessary, it must be applied boldly, decisively, and completely. But one must know the limitations of force; one must know when to blend force with a maneuver, the blow with an agreement."

- Leon Trotsky

Code of Milan

All articles of the Code of Milan are upheld in the Diocese of Centropolis. Of particular interest in this infiltrated city is:

VI. All Sabbat must put the good of the
sect before their own personal needs, despite all costs.

Auctoritas Ritae

All common Auctoritas Ritae are observed in the Diocese of Centropolis. Of course, the most prevalent is the Vaulderie ritual. It is held on a monthly basis in the heart of the current Temple. Nobody skips it. Nobody.

OOC: We will not roleplay out every single Vaulderie session. Players may pick at whim to run any of the common auctoritas ritae (such as the Masquerade) for the group.

Until further notice, all Sabbat players should roll for Vinculum ratings every 3 months. They should roll twice for their packmates to represent the frequency of pack Vaulderies.

Limbo...

...is unfortunately the state of the Centropolis by Night Sabbat game. Players took some initiative to reorganize the diocese. But the game is without Storyteller or a driving Chronicle. Who will step forward to embrace that vital role?
