Characters


Becoming a wraith requires one basic thing: the person has to die. Then, if her Passions and Fetters are strong enough, she will linger on in the Shadowlands...at least for awhile.

The only limitation for Wraith characters are their Arcanoi. No character submitted should have any Arcanos beginning at Level 5, nor host several Arcanoi at Level 4. Keep the character sensible; if such high levels are displayed too readily, the character will be asked to leave the TUG. This has less to do with potential power abuse and illogical social stratification. The leaders of the factions are and always will be background NPCs that will almost never be seen (except in plotlines a player may choose to run). When submitting your character’s name to add to the TUG roster, include only the character’s general faction: Bush of Ghosts, Heretic, Guildmate, Renegade, or freewraith. And if you wish to play a Risen Dead, note that the character is Risen Dead in addition to faction. Remember, no Spectres are to be approved for this TUG. Submit them to the Shades of Darkness game.

Below is a current character roster of those PCs involved in the ILT game. Even the most basic information regarding these characters (faction) must be discovered IC. Only the name of the player of the character will be listed; contacting said player is left to his peers' devices (using the mailing list is a good idea).

    Circles


    The formation of circles in the Ihlathi Lesithunzi game is strictly voluntary and personal. They are well-advised, both IC and OOC. Players wishing to run plots can more effectively wind them around established (or establishing) circles instead of random characters.

    Name: Guilded Age -- Augustus Gavino, Gene Kebbel, Janae Romans, Trey Gooding, Maretha Bekker; Genever Straaten
    Description -- Guild ghosts of all type gather in Durban to flex their trade and talents, and this "inner circle" marks some of the best.

    Name: Death Wheels -- Starr Riker, Braylee Robbins, Ingram Helmuth
    Description -- Lords of Valhalla and whoever's cool enough to ride with them tear ass through the necropolis.

    Name: The Lost -- Zebadiah Knox, Lesedi Bosman, Thozama Komani, Qaqamba Ntini, Asanda Kwenkwe
    Description -- African ghosts aligned to Thembuland's Fields of the Dead, they listen to King Jama's ancient and remembered wisdom to both help other native ghosts while pursuing self-reflection and possible Transcendence.

    Name: The Found -- Mia Goodwin, Kweiten-ta-Sesana, Vemvane Gwili, Ethulo Sinoxolo, Thandeka Dandalaza
    Description -- These African ghosts were commended to the Bush of Shadows of Zululand background. They linger in the Shadowlands at the behest of King Cetawayo to recruit more native ghosts who may be lost. They do not often compete with the Lost circle, but can be more aggressive in their recruitment drive.

    Name: Mrt Parivaar -- Madri Mallaya, Nasatya Tavade, Jhanda Dhebar, Akshara Munshi, Vaidehi Pandey
    Description -- A circle of displaced Indian ghosts reclaim their Swar heritage and stake out their own modest homestead in the necropolis.
