Seelie

Technically, Puebla lies within the Kingdom of the Feathered Snake. But the nobles have no power in Mexico beyond the northern and western borders (and that is hotly contested). What Seelie commoners dwell in Puebla tend to gravitate towards those few wellsprings of Glamour and protect their Dreamers and dross with religious jealousy.

Nobles
There are none to speak of, save perhaps the occasional Scathach wayfarer on some secret mission.

Commoners
The Seelie commoners stand few and far between. Most Trolls flock to Topaz’s banner farther up north. Oh, but the food! THE FOOD! Puebla is most famous for its poblano foods, and as such a few restaurant gems host Boggan muses or chefs. Besides, there is no shortage of ever-hungry Pooka and Satyr bellies to fill. Other Kiths are rare in these parts. A famous Hearth of Rainbow Peppers (Pimientos Arcoiris) is based out of the Boggan-run restaurant of El Panorama de Poblanos (or just El Pan to its regular diners; its tortillas are to die for) and thrives still.

Unseelie

The banality of the city and hazards of the metropolitan area and wilderness dissuades most Unseelie forces from having any interest in Puebla. However, many specialize in cultivating the fear and despair that undead hegemony already builds.

Nobles
None dwell here to speak of, but the occasional noble from the Kingdom of Iberia with a stick up his Spanish butt visits on holiday.

Commoners
Redcaps and Sluagh account for most of the Kithain in Puebla. They feast on the nightmares of the bloodied denizens of Puebla and trade in secrets and whispered tales of the tunnels below. An expanded ‘Cap corby, los Corredores de Polvo (“Dust Runners”), dominates fae politics (such is their state) in Puebla. The corby’s name is often abbreviated to “CDP” and has become a franchised symbol (gang paraphernalia) in Puebla, even though most young mortal punks who don the gear have no idea what it really means or refers to.

The Nahuani

The real power in Puebla, certainly in the surrounding state, counts the Nahuani Pure Landers. The agronomic Aluxob are reasonable enough to deal with Kithain. They are also likely to gather in companionships that cooperate skillfully together and can repel most threats. Most Aluxob will be found up north in the shadows of the Sierra Nevada, helping the indigenous farmers tend their crops as they always have.

The Nagual are another story. While fiercely independent faeries, they are naturally talented sorcerers and shapechangers. Imagine a Grump Pooka scion of House Eiluned with a mean streak nine kilometers wide and you’ve got this tribe in a nutshell. And they are scattered all over Puebla. Many Nagual linger near their own mortal kin, but others venture into ancient Aztec and Mesoamerican ruins for magical secrets and Patli (Glamour). They are more likely also to cut deals with spirits and totem patrons that empower them personally and facilitate their ability to deal death to interlopers and intruders. In short, the Nagual are the real changeling power in Puebla.

Though usually solitary, the Nagual (and in cooperation with the Aluxob) have established a powerful “freehold” (more like a caern/Node) in the Apatlaco Ecological Park. This parkland lies to the east of the city between the twin volcanoes of Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl and overlaps the border between the states of Puebla and Mexico. The park is popular with visitors and within the park lies the Cascada Apatlaco—a small natural waterfall. Hidden entrances hide a cave behind this small waterfall attraction. Within, the Nahuani foster a damp cave full of mystical energy (Patli) found dripping from every stone, pure and empowering (Level 2 Holding; Garou could tap it as a Caern of Gnosis). They have named this place, and their defensive cooperation of it, Teoticuaitl—“Godhead”.

On the advice of their ancestor-spirits, the Teoticuaitl Protectorate has joined the Dominion of the God-House. (The Aluxob were reluctant but defer to the Nagual on matters of war and politics, so long as their farms are protected!)
