The following can be construed as unofficial policy towards the other factions of the Coalition as well as supernaturals in the city abroad. It may also be construed simply as personal opinions of the Court leaders. Regardless, all Courtiers are made aware of these statements one way or another, and it’s rarely prudent to defy a Court elder.
Below each description of sentiment lists a status category that sums up general feelings towards the Court or agency in question. Those feelings may or may not be shared on a similar level; visit other factional pages for other factions’ feelings. The possible sentiment categories include: good, tolerance, neutral, antipathy, and hatred.
The Court of Bamboo Talons: The hengeyokai are our allies in the protection of nature from corrupters of all variety. However, their more spiteful members must recall that if their anger takes them among innocent humans, we will be there to stop them.
Status: Good
The Court of Shooting Stars: The sorcerers of mankind are too arrogant and strange to deal with for long. But they make excellent compatriots against the Coalition’s many enemies.
Status: Tolerance
The Court of the Silver Censer: The Shinma and the spirits of dead humans have traditionally had all but nothing to do with one another. On occasion, one of us has had the misfortune of encountering a spirit angry that we occupied their body after their expiration. We will do our best to stay friendly with this organization of spirits.
Status: Tolerance
The Court of the Ebon Flame: The ancient enemy of the Shinma in many ways, the Kuei-jin have never strayed from their path of deceit and greed. They may or may not be capable of (worthiness not even a factor we may judge) attaining true enlightenment. Regardless, they are definitely bent on “acquisitions” here in Little Asia. We much watch them very carefully indeed.
Status: Antipathy
The House of Yizhi: We see ourselves as guides for these “aware” mortals in many ways. They may police us all they want; they will not find faults among our ways.
Status: Good
The Waigoren Fae: These fae believe we have something in common. Whatever it may be, it is hardly basis alone to seek an alliance. However, there is no reason to alienate these creatures either. We will listen and parley on equal terms so long as they respect the Court of Emerald Eyes and Coalition of Little Asia’s autonomy of this district.
Status: Tolerance
The Kin-jin: Devils and fiends, they ravage the mortals we are instructed to guard. They are the most constant enemy in this city.
Status: Hatred
