Little Asia
Zones
Chinatown
The feel of Chinatown is much like West Side. Indeed, the only reason Chinatown can call its own Zone is due to the high concentration of Chinese-American residents. The Zone is almost strictly residential, with a few small businesses intermingled in the neighborhoods. The western portion of the Zone boasts bigger and more expansive estates, leading many to mistakenly believe that all the Triads live out here. Some may, true, but it is simply a nicer part of town. Midori-no-Koyama and the Ling Estate are both two mansions lauded for their mysterious past. Closer to the center of town, one can find the Oka Bathhouse and Fitness Center. The many homes and neighborhoods of Chinatown eventually give way to Little Tokyo to the north.

Little Tokyo
Little Tokyo, like Chinatown, shares much in common with West Side. However, Little Tokyo earned its name less from Japanese-American residence and Japanese money. Much property was bought up by enterprising Japanese entrepreneurs and real estate moguls. The biggest cemetery in the district, Quiet Knolls, which all ethnicities and religions share, is found in the southwestern corner of this Zone. The (in?)famous Doyobi Gentleman’s Club is located here, right off the main street that cuts through the district. But the most imposing site in Little Asia (and also a base for the Coalition of Little Asia) is the Yamahasu Pagoda, found to the extreme north, bordering the Smithville Woods (and the portion now entitled the Hirasaki Preserve). Little Tokyo has its share of residents, to be sure. The neighborhoods just aren’t quite as cramped and packed as Chinatown and West Side, giving the illusion that all of the Japanese are wealthier. Though this causes some racial friction (despite its fallacy), race crimes aren’t particularly common. Fierce commercial competition is, however.

Red Light District
Caught between the Business Zone, West Side, and Chinatown, this notorious neighborhood boasts an attraction to all of the city’s residents. Though there are many other, “fleshy” parts of town elsewhere, people in the mood for exotic Asian vice come here. Indeed, it’s considered part of the city’s tourist appeal. The locals keep the business limited to this Zone (because the cops avidly crack down on them otherwise), but this area is certainly not for children. Peep-shows, gaudy motels, modern opium dens, and worse are sprinkled all over this section of town. Some people live in this Zone, but mainly just those who work here. The most famous place in town is Kool Kat Productions, an “amateur pornography” studio in which prostitution is carried out under the name of adult entertainment.
