Key Sites
This begins the descriptions of key settings employed in the Little Asia district of Kansas City, the city setting that the CoLA troupe employs. Primary "area limitations" are noted below each description as well as in which Little Zone the site is found. If you have a site you think is important for everyone in the game to know about, please send a detailed description to the Head Storyteller, Cam.
This page lists key locations within the Little Asia district. They are presented roughly in order by Zone as one enters Zones per the south zodiac gate of the district. This page does not provide locales that are key to the factions (Courts) themselves, which are typically very private areas. It also does not depict the Yamahasu Pagoda, possibly the most important site in Little Asia. All of these descriptions are found on the factional webpages or in the case of the pagoda, its own page. Most of the rest of these sites are taken directly from the map page.
Below each site's description is listed any OOC restrictions that may apply, what Zone in Little Asia the area is located, and the overall (general) Wall (Gauntlet/Shroud) rating the area possesses. Some sites are varied enough that different sections have firmly varied Wall ratings. In these cases, the Wall rating is slipped in parentheses in the description itself, where appropriate.

Koolkat Productions, inc. (brothel)
The Kool Kat Hotel is a three-story renovation in Little Asia’s red light district. Surrounded by unkempt filth on every side, the site is a preferred stopover for those men in the mood for a bit more class and beauty. Although it is in fact just another brothel, its façade business is quite legitimate. Clients willingly enjoy the willing young (but not too young!) and beautiful women while filmed. The footage is in turn often sold to Internet pornography companies who rarely publicize credits. The Hotel does not sponsor prostitution, merely adult entertainment! Besides its underground reputation, it sometimes serves as a sanctuary for shen -- particularly Shinma. It is the last place most think to look for the Awakened, after all. Its well-furnished apartments are all fitted with comfortable beds, full bathrooms, and respectfully hidden cameras so clients can better forget their presence. Crimson velvet paneling helps keep the building warm during the winter, though the proprietor settles for no less than central air come summer! In the lobby, one encounters a smiling receptionist -- no doubt a courtesan past her prime -- and a burly and bald fellow named Chow Li who watches all entering johns…err, clients…silently, arms folded. Occasionally, a guest is graced with the acquaintance of the Chairman and owner of Kool Kat, Productions -- the Fat Kat himself, Han Phat. Long live the orgy!
OOC: Obviously, no minors allowed. Unsurprisingly, the enterprise is bankrupting many smaller brothels in the district. The Triads or yakuza have yet to act on this loss to their typical income, however. They may be held in check by something…
