Uzen Merza


Characters


Joining any sect is mainly a matter of recognition and approval by the Prince, Anarch Overlord, or Dominion. Assignment from a distant Sabbat leader is required to become an infiltrator in the Uzen Merza game. Staying independent is much easier, but doesn’t hold much promise of getting anywhere in unlife. The Anarchs crave only freedom, and loathe the halls of intrigue and fanatic crusades of the sects. But to join any sect IC, one can assume that enough Auspex-based observation is performed to insure a spy or genuine psycho (as in the “I like chopping up people’s guts…Masquerade, what’s that?” psychosis) isn’t allowed.

The only limitation is in Generation, not age. No character lower than 8th Generation is permitted. Though bear in mind that this is not an excuse to make a 2,000 year old 9th Generation vampire! Keep the age in standard with the Generation. This has less to do with potential power abuse and illogical social stratification. The leaders of the sects are and always will be background NPCs that will almost never be seen (except in plotlines a player may choose to run). When submitting your character’s name to add to the TUG roster, include only the character’s sect: Camarilla, Sabbat, or Anarch/Independent.

Below is a current character roster of those PCs involved in the UZM game. Even the most basic information regarding these characters (Clan) must be discovered IC. Only the name of the player of the character will be listed; contacting said player is left to his peers' devices (using the mailing list is a good idea).

    Coteries, Packs, & Wu


    The formation of coteries, gangs, wu, and packs in the Uzen Merza game is strictly voluntary and personal. They are well-advised, both IC and OOC. Players wishing to run plots can more effectively wind them around established (or establishing) coteries instead of random characters.

    Description -- A coterie of Camarilla Kindred bent towards the investigation and confirmation of rumors of the sect's enemies, including Louhi and her minions.

    Description -- A coterie of independent-minded Cainites gathered to first perceive, then comprehend, and finally prepare for the onslaught of Endtimes threats, from Louhi to the Baba Yaga to Gehenna itself.

    Name: Choosers of Slain -- Aino Makkonen, Kreeta Rehn, Vuokko Järvelä; Kati Leinonen
    Description -- A gang of Valkyrie Gangrel Anarchs, doing whatever they please, whenever they please (within common sense reason, of course).

    Name: Tumma -- Airi Simola, Maija Moilanen, Soile Jantunen
    Description -- A group of Keskinen revenants working together and not far from the city to fulfill the dark schemes of their mistress, the crone Louhi.

    Name: Reign of Night -- Jovani Klebs, Mabella Richman, Tuva Ceder; Viivi Isometsä
    Description -- A Sabbat infiltration pack, skilled at all forms of espionage.

    Name: Pallia -- Venisama Striga, Talussa Striga, Dannuma Striga, Perra Striga
    Description -- This coven of ancient Lhiannan vampires pursues ancient, forbidden ley-line exploits throughout the Old World. Their greatest redeeming quality is their scorn for and opposition to Louhi.

    Name: Cycle of Sentiments -- Clarence Laurie, Roger Burks, Medea Miskide, Joreid Linidottir, Sibbe Starri, Phaia Vallou, Hesione Zaneas, Daiva Vaiciute; Rosanna Monckeberg
    Description -- A circle of Cabiri Reborn and their allies, exploring the limits of mortality and, ironically, eternity.

    Name: Command of Amun-Ra -- Sapt Tef-au, Naunet En-nets, Bennekheb Pet-ebar
    Description -- By order of not just Horus and Osiris but even older entities, these Shemsu-Heru were dispatched to the Oulu area to help foil Louhi's dark schemes of extinguishing the sun.
